We are looking for a Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) to join our expanding team at Applied Medical’s European headquarters located in Amersfoort (NL). You will install, set-up, maintain and repair mechanical equipment for producing medical devices per technical instructions, health & safety directives and quality regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Following systematic root cause problem solving and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Installing new and existing mechanical equipment
- Assisting with the commissioning and qualification of new equipment
- Maintaining mechanical equipment in excellent condition ensuring consistent quality, output and yield
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance, completing all associated documentation
- Ordering and maintaining appropriate stock of spare parts
- Participating in process improvement and cost reduction programs
- Interfacing with the US team; travel may be included
- Understanding and complying with safety rules and Company policies
What you bring
- MBO qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical
- Experience in Mechanical: grinding, welding and mechanical repair
- Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in Pneumatics, Electronics and/or Hydraulics systems, and overall mechanical systems
- Experience with Injection Molding equipment preferred
